About the team
You will be part of global team of Citrix Administrators, Engineers, and Architects.

Team is Responsible for the maintenance and support of multiple server environments and virtual desktops hosted in our global data-centres as well as Public cloud, to enable FIS to provide a highly available enterprise quality service to our customers, working alongside Infrastructure and Operations teams based in EMEA, US and APAC regions.

What you will be doing

Develops and implements business plans, policies and procedures while collaborating with other departments to prioritize database development needs.
Evaluates results within business unit to determine if organizational objectives are being met.
Responsible for all activities related to the design, development and administration of computerized databases.
Projects longrange requirements for database administration in conjunction with other managers in the information systems function as well as business function managers.
Prepares activity and progress reports regarding the database management section.
Other related duties assigned as needed.

What you bring:

Minimum 7 Years experience as a Oracle database engineer/DBA.
Extensive knowledge and solid troubleshooting experience in the following areas
RAC, ASM, Golden gate ,Exadata, Performance tuning, Data Guard (Physical and Logical), DG Broker
Experience in handling complex database recovery scenarios
Experience in database migrations and upgrades
Experience in troubleshooting various installation and patching issues
Experience in Oracle engineered systems like Exadata, Oracle Database Appliance
Experience in Golden Gate replication
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure quick thinking and remaining calm during stressful situations.
Willingness to work in shifts and on weekends.
Ability to quickly grasp complex technical issues.
Appetite to learn new technologies and constantly improve technical skills.
