Third Party Security Assurance - Associate( 601 )

Location - Bengaluru, India
The Supplier Assurance Services (SAS) and Corporate Third-Party Oversight organizations are part of JPMC Global Supplier Services (GSS).

The SAS team executes Supplier Control Assessments on Third Party Suppliers in accordance with JPMorgan Chase (JPMC) Standards, supporting all Lines of Businesses and Corporate Functions globally.

SAS Risk Management function has been established to standardize and centralize Assessment quality oversight and Supplier Issue Management activities.


The SAS Supplier Issue Management team helps improve quality and standardize Finding validation, Finding Closure, and relevant activities within SAS.

As a SAS Issue Management team member within this group, your day-to-day responsibilities will be to:

  • Assessment Findings Review
  • making sure the description, severity justification, required evidence for closure description are in line with JPMC guidance
  • Closure Evidence Review making sure evidence provided by Supplier (policies, procedures, instructions, screenshots etc.) is sufficient to close Assessment Finding
  • Engage with multiple internal stakeholders on addressing Issue Management queries
  • Work with the LOB Delivery Manager, Information Security Manager to resolve findings through Action Plans (APs) and Risk Acceptance (RA)
  • Liaise with Business Partners to ensure that relevant Action
Plans/ Risk Acceptances are remediated within agreed timeframes


This includes:

  • Understanding all aspects of the Supplier Risk Assessment process
  • Managing entire Issue Lifecycle (identification, creation, modifications, extensions, and validate closure evidence)
  • Subcontractor and Data Management overview
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements
  • Supporting internal education and best practices sharing with peers and colleagues
**Qualifications: - 3-5 years of experience in a cybersecurity, technology controls, information security, technology audit, technology compliance, third party risk management or technology outsourcing discipline

  • Experience of working in a highly matrixed, global environment in financial services or technology firms
  • Solid strategic thinking and execution skills
  • Knowledge of assessment processes, including the identification and classification of risk
  • Solid executive presence, with proven ability to effectively interact with all levels of organizational leadership
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline required

Technical Skills:


  • Possession of an active security or information risk certification ( e.g. CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, etc.) preferred
