Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

Course Delivery:
Plan and deliver engaging lectures, presentations, and discussions on a variety of topics related to general studies.

These topics may include but are not limited to social sciences, humanities, natural sciences, Political science, History, Geography, Current Affairs, critical thinking, and research methods.

Curriculum Development:
Develop and update course syllabi, instructional materials, and assessments based on established learning objectives and outcomes. Stay abreast of current trends and developments in the field to ensure the relevance of the curriculum.

Assessment and Grading:
Design and administer assessments, including exams, essays, projects, and presentations, to evaluate student learning and progress. Provide timely and constructive feedback on student performance and maintain accurate records of grades.

Office Hours and Consultations:

Hold regular office hours to provide individual or small group consultations, advising students on course content, assignments, and academic progress.

Offer guidance on study strategies, research techniques, and career paths related to general studies.

Qualifications:

A minimum of a master's degree in a relevant field is typically required, while a doctoral degree is preferred.
Demonstrated expertise in multiple disciplines within the field of general studies, with a strong academic background.
Prior teaching experience at the University level is desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
Proficiency in instructional technologies and a willingness to incorporate innovative teaching methods.
Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the classroom and the ability to create an inclusive learning environment.

Salary:
₹500, ₹800,000.00 per year
