Job Title:
Purchase cum Store Assistant


Experience Required: 1-3 years


Education Background:
Diploma or BE in Mechanical Engineering

Role Overview:


Responsibilities:


Procurement & Vendor development:

  • Source, negotiate, and purchase materials, components, equipment, and services necessary for the organization's operations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality goods at competitive prices.
  • Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed.
  • Responsible for vendor sourcing & development activities.
  • Responsible for development of machining, Moulding, electronics components, packaging material.

Inventory Control:

  • Oversee and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability for production and operational needs.
  • Implement inventory control measures to minimize stock discrepancies, spoilage, and obsolescence.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliation to maintain accuracy in inventory records.

Documentation and Compliance:

  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as relevant regulations in procurement and inventory management.
  • Prepare and maintain purchase orders, invoices, and other procurementrelated documentation.

Coordination and Communication:

  • Collaborate with internal departments such as production, finance, and quality assurance to understand their procurement requirements and ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and any other relevant information.
  • Coordinate with logistics providers to arrange for the transportation of goods as needed.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and efficiency enhancements in procurement and inventory management.
  • Implement best practices and initiatives to optimize purchasing processes and streamline inventory control procedures.

Skills and Qualifications:


  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
  • 13 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain vendor relationships.
  • Proficient in inventory management techniques and software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detailoriented with good analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations governing procurement and inventory management.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Experience of ISO & IATF16949 documentation desirable.

Salary:
₹15, ₹22,000.00 per month
