Description

To manage and oversee physical inbound operation and delivering high service levels to ensure that the team delivers results in line with Customers agreed SLA and in accordance with customer procedures and defined standards.

Maintain good working relationships, Co ordination, discussion and communication
Independently operations management
Assist to meet targets
Together with operations manager participate in problem solving and trouble shoot process
Ensure all service providers meet Customer's requirements and follow the SOP
Ensure to provide right input to FBAP team for LSP billing
On time and accurate MIS for CUSTOMER part / production planning
Daily working process review and discussion
Coordination with buyer and LSPs for appropriate decisions to meet CUSTOMER business requirements.
Ensure operational issues are registered and resolved or escalated to next level within time frame and most efficient possible manner.
Ensure no effect on production due to any issues in operations
Support on ad hoc requirement
Adherence to project's SOP
Ensure that the SOPs are being followed and adhered to by LSP
Ensure safe working practices and environment within the projects.
Participate in DESC quality policy and initiatives e.g. ISO accreditation. Coordination and dealing with 3PL(s)
Getting required services thru better planning
Transportation and routing of vehicles, Vehicle placement as per CUSTOMER pick plan and tracking till delivery
Operation managed as per project operating module
