Job Title:

Server and StorageEngineer (L3)
Summary:Weare looking for an experienced Server Engineer (L3) that would beable to implement troubleshoot server and storage relatedassignments and provide the appropriate technology solutions etc.

L3 technical experts resolve issues that are typically difficult orsubtle. L3 engineers participate in management prioritization minorenhancements break fix activities problem management stabilityanalysis etc.

These support leaders have specific deepunderstanding and expertise in one or two technology platforms (forexample VMware/HyperV administrator a Windows Admin).

L3 engineersare proactive in nature identifying problems in advance and lookingfor continuous service improvement opportunities.

If a fix involvesa major enhancement or a development then the problem istransferred to engineering or development teams Level 4.

L3engineers may have root or administrator access to basic systems.
L3 engineers generally have 12 or more years of relevantexperience.

To successfully operate an ITsupport operation whether within an enterprise or within a serviceprovider organization on behalf of Clients it is critical to beclear on levels of support relatedto:

Capabilities and responsibilities of thetalent involved in providing support and Levels of incident orrequest treatment related to priority urgency escalation treatmentand service level agreements(SLAs).

ResponsibilitiesGood hands on experience on with VMWare ESX platform (VMWare ESX6.X 7.X and vCenter 6.X7.X & Complex problemtroubleshooting and root cause analysis.
VMware NSX 6.X deployment knowledge HPEServer and Storage deployment knowledge.
Creating templates VM deployments and configuration. Assigning andattaching LUNS.

Working knowledge of ESXESXi and Virtual Center servers patchingKnowledge of Advanced administration OS deployment configuring ESXservers managing policies Should have goodexperience in design installation and management of large virtualserver farm using VMWare/HyperVConfiguration and managing High availability VMotion takingsnapshots and restoring snapshots of VMS Day to day administrationand monitoring of VM ware infrastructure.

Good hands on experience in resolving complex tickets assigned tothe team through the Help Desk Ticketing system. Troubleshoot andresolve VMWare and Windows general server related issues with Rootcause analysis. VCP4 VCP5Preferred.

Knowledge of Advancedtroubleshooting administration ESX Service Console & VCLIConsole Working knowledge of VMA &VMware Power CLI Configuration andmanagement of ESX Servers VMware Virtual Centers VMware ClustersVMware DRS and VMware HA.

Serverconsolidation & virtualization (P2V) using VMConvertor. Expertise in Disaster Recovery ofVM s (Clustering VMotion) Sharedstorageconfiguration using iSCSI FC and DAS. vMotion vMotionESXcli/PowerCLI/PowerShell scripting. VCB backup vData Recovery andBackup Exec integration. Responsible for alarge virtual infrastructure running VMware vSphere version 5.15and 5.1. In depth knowledge of VMwareHeartbeat Autodeploy Host profiles dvSwitches storage clusters andperformance tuning ESXi. Experience withvSphere problem determination and root cause analysisinvestigation Experience automating taskswith scripting and programing languages such asPowerShell Ability to design robustprocesses for complex problems Ability torecognize relationships and interdependencies between systems andprocesses Ensure proper communications withthe customer and manager and send periodic reports to keep all thestake holders informed about projectprogress Ensure highest level of customerservice and satisfaction in all projectsWilling to travel to different job locations in a shorter noticeand also stay till the project iscompleted

Requiredskills Databaseadministration Windows & Linux server including commandline interface. Experience in a fastpaceenvironment need good time management solid communication skillsand quick response. Proficiency ininteracting with clients Working knowledgeof the Software Life Cycle Excellentorganizational and support case managementskills Handson experience providing endusersupport in a high availability mission critical support operation.

Managed Services Support experience is aplus Excellent communications skills and theability to communicate effectively at all levels both within andoutside the organization Ability tointerface with external contacts while favourably representing Jibein the marketplace Strong knowledge ofstandard hardware & software configurations Storage andComputing preferred Successful communicatorat all levels using all media with excellent interpersonalskills.

Demonstrates skill knowledge andunderstanding of company products job duties and appropriate workmethods. Familiarity with IBM HPE Blade andx86 hardware architecture StrongCommunication skills in both Written andSpoken Must have excellent interpersonal andtime management skills Detail OrientedMultitasking and able to deal with tight deadlines andstress Must be able to learn newtechnologies quickly Must be a teamPlayer

EducationExperience and CertificationB.E(IT/CS/ECE) / B. Tech / M.Sc. (IT/CS/ECE) /MCA with min 12 yearsrelevant experience. SNIA Storage engineerVMware certified expert etc. Microsoftcertified storage engineer.
