Description

support Global Commodities research team of a big investment bank - this includes proficiency in excel, charting skills, good understanding of global commodities market and macroeconomic concepts, working knowledge of econometric softwares and econometric modelling;

Rolde responsibilities include:

Create and update excel based databases on a regular basis.
Gather data from various public sources, government websites and economic databases. Analysis of large datasets to identify patterns, trends & themes.
Prepare dynamic charts to enable visualization of the relation between different key macroeconomic indicators/ commodity market variables.
Econometric analysis time series, forecasting methods, panel data regressions using econometric software.
Assist in preparation and publication of weekly, quarterly and annual deliverables.
Write short notes/commentary for weekly publications.
