Position Description:

Experience 3-6 years

Objective:

The Test Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software products/solutions by creating and executing manual and automated test cases for API and UI functionalities.

Responsibilities:

Develop test cases based on functional requirements and design specifications.
Collaborate with developers and product owners to identify testing requirements, acceptance criteria, and testing strategies.
Execute manual tests to validate API and UI functionality.
Develop, maintain, and execute automated tests for API and UI using frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver and RestAssured.
Work closely with development team to ensure that defects are identified and resolved in a timely manner.
Document test results and report defects found during testing.
Continuously improve the testing process by identifying opportunities for test automation and implementing best practices.

Deliverables:

Test cases and test scripts for API and UI functionality.
Test reports summarizing test results and defect status.
Automated test suites for API and UI using Selenium WebDriver and RestAssured.
Recommendations for test process improvements and automation strategies.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver and RestAssured.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Will work from the ABB office location in Bangalore.
Will use only the Laptop provided by the ABB.
