Description
We are looking for a Gemstone Assorter to join our team. The Gemstone Assorter will be responsible for sorting and evaluating gemstones to determine their quality and value. This includes assessing the size, shape, color, clarity, cut and finish of the gemstones.

  • Responsibilities:_
Evaluate the quality of gemstones using established criteria

Sort and grade gemstones according to their value

Record all data related to each stone accurately and completely

Use various tools such as loupes, magnifying glasses, tweezers and scales to assess gemstones

Verify authenticity of gemstones when necessary

Develop appropriate pricing strategies for each type of gemstone

Prepare detailed reports on the evaluation process

Keep up with industry trends by regularly attending trade shows and conferences


Requirements:

Minimum of N years experience in a similar role

Proven knowledge in sorting, grading and evaluating gems and jewelry pieces

Excellent attention to detail skills with a keen eye for assessing the quality of stones


Job Types:
Full-time, Regular / Permanent


Salary:
₹20, ₹25,000.00 per month
