    Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant - Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Data Engineer

    In this role, Genpact is seeking an experienced and dynamic GCP Data Engineer to join our team. As a GCP Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data solutions on the Google Cloud Platform. This role requires a strong foundation in data engineering, cloud technologies, and hands-on experience with GCP services.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Architecture: Design and implement scalable and efficient data architectures on Google Cloud Platform to meet business and project requirements.
  • GCP Implementation: Lead the implementation of data solutions using GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataprep, and others to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Data Integration: Develop and maintain robust data integration processes, ensuring seamless data flow across various systems and platforms.
  • ETL Processes: Design and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data into GCP, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks, troubleshoot data-related issues, and implement optimizations to enhance overall system performance.
  • Data Security and Governance: Implement data security measures and ensure compliance with data governance policies and standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data architectures, processes, and best practices.

    Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Expertise in data engineering with a focus on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong hands-on experience with GCP services such as Big Query, Dataflow, Dataprep, etc.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Java.
  • Experience with data modelling, ETL processes, and data integration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
