HPE's Digital Demand group is at the forefront, leading the digital and as-a-service transformation within HPE working across HPE Marketing.

The Marketing Sciences and Analytics team within this group is looking for a core team member to drive analytics and insights work leveraging the new technology platforms and data.

The team member will work on programs that use data driven insights to better connect with customers and enhance their customer experience.

We're looking for someone who has proven expertise in digital marketing and media data and operations, a desire to learn more about HPE's marketing, media, reporting and analytics programs, and a comfort level in learning new digital platforms used for digital marketing, media and web analytics, media buying as well as account-based marketing and performance reporting.


Position Overview

  • This position will be a core team member of the Data Science and Digital Analytics team under the Marketing Strategy and Analytics Organization
  • Primary functions include generating insights from data and analytics, working with crossfunctional teams from digital marketing, media, data operations and data sciences, leveraging existing and new technology and data platforms, internal stakeholder management/support, and coordination for project development, management, and implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the SME of media data and reporting, manage communications and expectations with internal stakeholders from the Marketing Strategy and Analytics Organization, Digital Demand, Digital Business Product to Market organization, and HPE Brand Marketing.
  • Partner with marketing and data operations team to understand existing data sources and work on plans to bring new media and marketing data from new sources to support analytics, insights and reporting.
  • Working closely with the data science team to provide regular reporting & adhoc analysis to business stakeholders on media performance across campaigns/channels/geos etc.,
  • Deliver datadriven recommendations across channels to improve HPE media strategy, decisionmaking and ROI
  • Build and grow relationships with media, ad tech partners & internal teams ensuring innovation by researching and testing new tools and solutions.
  • Fostering creative thinking around how we use data, and we could use data to solve unique business challenges in support of all Marketing activities (Media, Creative, CRM, and eCommerce).
  • Support Account Based Marketing analytics as it relates to digital touchpoints

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree plus 6+ years' experience in data analysis roles
  • 5+ years of advertising experience with a top advertiser or within an inhouse agency (media/creative agency or publisher side)
  • Expertise in data structure & metrics from major Social and Search platforms (i.e., LinkedIn, Twitter, Meta, Google Ads, Microsoft Bing)
  • Complete understanding of the full campaign lifecycle development, execution (especially, trafficking and tagging), reporting, optimization
  • Technically skilled and able to manipulate large raw datasets using advanced spreadsheet formulas and SQL ability to write complex queries from scratch from multiple tables, creating the appropriate joins, extracting and manipulating data, formatting fields, creating new measures and metrics, etc.
  • Ability to facilitate twoway translations between business requirements to/from technical criteria
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong ability to translate data into meaningful insights that drive strategy
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Highly skilled in all Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Willingness to work cross time zones
  • Ability to manage across multiple projects concurrently with strong time management skills
  • Ability to work crossfunctionally in a matrixed enterprise environment and flexibility to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
