Description
To receive all the goods strictly as per the specifications.- Ensure that the goods are received with all the necessary documents.
- Adhere to the policies & Standard operating procedures of the company.
- Ensure to update the Receiving Supervisor with all the necessary information about the goods received.
- Ensure procedures are followed and clear records are kept at all times.
- To coordinate all the functions of the team within the department.
- Any matter which may effect the interests of L&T should be brought to the attention of the Management.
- Maintain proper records of goods received, goods issued, and quantity of stock & rejected goods.
- Assist the Purchase Supervisor to ensure that the goods received are of the quality and quantity ordered.
- Coordinate with the Purchase Supervisor with regards to receiving.
- To carry out appropriate and adequate inspection as per the standards at the time of receiving the goods from the suppliers.
- Handle additional responsibilities as & when delegated by the Management.
- Other Duties: As may be assigned by Material Manager on time to time basis to meet departmental efficiency.
