Description
Develop robust sourcing strategies for various sub commodities

  • Work with Cross Functional Team to understand and support their requirements.
  • Work with regional & global Sourcing teams in developing commodity sourcing strategies.
  • Report out the BPR and various reports for the management requirement.
  • Do benchmarking exercise for the projects based on markets tests/previous projects along with the VOME / PTO team.
  • Engage suppliers for annual cost reductions to support business objectives.
  • Ensure adequate quality controls are in place in the operations.
  • Support and Coordinate all GAO/ISO/MCRP audits and drive for NIL Non-Conformance comments.
  • Demonstrate strong Leadership behaviours aligned with the 7 Ford Culture truths, demonstrate ability to stretch for departmental actions
  • Demonstrate Agile, strategic, innovative mindset in running operations and represent in Leadership forums

5. Preferred previous experiences / competencies to prepare for the position

  • Education QualificationAny graduates
  • No. of Years of Experience 3 to 5 years
  • Professional Exposure
  • Have experience in Operations, sourcing and Capital Equipment procurement in automotive industry
  • Exposure to Indirect purchasing of goods
  • Excellent business acumen, resultorientated in challenging and adventuring environment
  • Good knowledge of cost structures for various commodities and services required locally and ensure the supply base is cost competitive.
  • Ability to interact with senior management
