    Description

    Worley is a well-known global company that offers professional project and asset services in the energy, chemicals, and resources sectors.

    We are currently looking for highly skilled and experienced Process Design Engineers who have worked in the oil and gas or petrochemical industry to join our team in Hyderabad, India.

    As a Process Safety & Risk Engineer, your role will be vital in developing and implementing process Safety design activities for offshore projects.

    You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and clients, to deliver high-quality engineering solutions within specified timelines and budgetary constraints.

    Responsibilities

    - minimum 5 years' experience in Oil and Gas industry for both onshore and offshore technical safety.
    - and extensive experience dealing with major projects within Oil and Gas industry handling risk-based decision making, qualitative and quantitative risk assessments, safety case development, human factors engineering, process safety performance management, safety system design, fire, explosion, and gas dispersion analysis.
    - experience in management, planning, HSE engineering operations, problem solving, decision making in combining engineering and health and safety knowledge to ensure that chemicals, machinery, software, furniture, and other products do not harm people or damage property.
    - experience in using Shell DEPs, ADNOC CoP, PDO SPs, API, NFPA and IEC will be an advantage.

    literate, proficiency in MS Office and technical software applications.

    • Good command of English (speaking, writing, reading & reporting).

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Process Safety & Risk Engineer in the oil and gas or petrochemical industry.
    • Strong knowledge of process engineering principles, including process simulation, mass and energy balance, and equipment design.
    • Proficiency in industrystandard process design software such as Aspen HYSYS, PRO/II, or similar tools.
    • Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., API, ASME, ISO) applicable to oil and gas or petrochemical projects.
    • Experience in onshore and offshore projects is highly desirable.
    • Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven environment.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
