Job Description:
Medical Representative (Pharmaceutical Company)


Responsibilities:


Product Promotion and Sales:
Promote and detail the company's pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals including physicians, pharmacists, and hospitals within the assigned territory.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share.
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, understand their needs, and provide appropriate product information.


Market Intelligence:
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor products, and market developments to identify new opportunities and challenges.
Gather and report relevant market intelligence and customer feedback to the management team.

Provide accurate and up-to-date product information to healthcare professionals, addressing any queries they may have.


Customer Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain a strong network of healthcare professionals, ensuring regular interactions to foster positive relationships.
Address customer concerns, resolve issues, and provide exceptional customer service to build loyalty and trust.


Events and Training:
Organize and participate in medical conferences, seminars, and workshops to showcase products and educate healthcare professionals.
Deliver product presentations and training sessions to medical professionals and other stakeholders.


Sales Reporting and Analysis:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market insights.
Generate timely sales reports and analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field. A higher degree (MBA, MSc) is a plus.
  • Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales or a related field, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, pharmacology, and healthcare industry practices.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

Additional Requirements:


  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical conduct.
  • Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to evolving industry trends.

Job Types:
Full-time, Regular / Permanent, Fresher


Salary:
₹20, ₹50,000.00 per month
