About us
The Azim Premji Foundation's purpose is to facilitate a just, equitable, humane and sustainable society.

The Foundation has started work on the provision of health services for vulnerable populations in Bengaluru, anchored from Health Centers to provide out-patient services and engage in community health work in collaboration with public health systems.


We are looking for trained Mental Health Counselor, who would be part of our medical health team, to provide counselling and emotional support to the community.


Role & Responsibilities:


  • Provide individual/ group counseling sessions.
  • Along with the medical team develop a systemic guidance/support programme, conduct/organize awareness programs.
  • Collaborate and consult with family members regarding the individual's wellbeing.
  • Facilitate referrals as needed for domain experts, when necessary.

Qualification:


  • MSW (Counselling /Medical Psychiatry)
  • Relevant work experience of years in the area of community mental health.
  • Would need to be fluent in both Kannada and Hindi.
  • Would need to be open to travelling to all our centers as required.

Job Types:
Full-time, Contractual / Temporary

Contract length: 12 months
