What is Channel Partners:

Companies sell their products through channel partners. For example, the company will sell its products to channel partners, who will then sell them to clients/customers.


Responsibility:


1-Channel Partner Management:


  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners to expand the company's reach in the market.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing channel partners, providing support and ensuring their success.

2-Sales Strategy:


  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective channel sales strategies that align with overall business objectives.
  • Set targets and goals for channel partners and work towards achieving mutually agreedupon sales quotas.

3-Training and Enablement:


  • Conduct training sessions for channel partners to ensure they are wellversed in the product or service offerings.
  • Provide necessary tools, resources, and marketing materials to enable partners to effectively sell products.

4-Market Analysis:


  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and threats in the channel sales space.
  • Provide feedback to the company on market conditions and potential adjustments to the channel strategy.

5-Sales Support:


  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to create promotional campaigns and sales materials that resonate with channel partners.
  • Act as a liaison between channel partners and internal teams to address any issues and ensure smooth communication.

6-Reporting and Analysis:


  • Prepare and present regular reports on channel sales performance, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
  • Analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the channel sales landscape.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams.
