Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing and implementing barcoding systems and processes.
  • Create and assign unique barcodes to products, inventory items, or assets.
  • Ensure accurate scanning and recording of barcodes using appropriate scanning devices.
  • Maintain a database or system to track and manage barcode information.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure barcode accuracy and functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve barcoderelated issues or errors.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate barcoding systems with existing inventory or asset management systems.
  • Train and educate staff on proper barcode scanning and usage procedures.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in barcoding technology.
  • Conduct research and recommend improvements to enhance barcode system efficiency and accuracy.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels of barcode labels or supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with barcode standards and regulations

Education & Experience:

  • 10th or 12th.
  • Fresher + Proven experience as a Barcoding Specialist or in a similar role.
