JOB POSITION

Scrum Master.
Demonstrate sound knowledge of industry best practices, good organizational and leadership skills, and proficiency in Pega technology.
The Scrum Master plays a crucial role in agile software development teams, acting as a facilitator and coach to enable the team's success in delivering highquality products.
The Scrum Master serves as a guardian of the Scrum process, ensuring adherence to its principles and practices, and removing any obstacles that hinder the team's progress.
This role requires strong communication, facilitation, and leadership skills, as well as a deep understanding of agile methodologies and the Scrum framework.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

Managing timelines, resolving problems and coaching team members on Agile methodologies
Help create selforganizing teams that are flexible and fully productive during sprints
Work with Product and Solution Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment.
Manage each project's scope and timeline
Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings and daily standups
Coach team members in Agile frameworks
Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
Be the point of contact for external communications (e.g. from customers or stakeholders)
Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests
Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur
Help teams implement changes effectively
Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint
Guide development teams to higher scrum maturity
Help build a productive environment where team members 'own' the product and enjoy working on it
Facilitate System Demos Drive relentless improvement via Inspect and Adapt workshops; assess the agility level of the ART and help them improve.
Understand and operate within Lean Budgets and ensure adherence to Guardrails.
Facilitating PI Planning readiness and the event itself
Escalating and tracking ART impediments, while facilitating relentless improvement strategies for the ART
Facilitate Scrum of Scrums
Facilitate Scrum Events

:

Guide and facilitate various Scrum events, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. Ensure that these meetings are effective, time-boxed, and encourage collaboration among team members.

Coach and Support the Team

:

Act as a coach and mentor to the development team, promoting self-organization, continuous improvement, and a high-performance mindset. Support the team in making appropriate commitments and achieving their sprint goals.

Remove Obstacles

:

Identify and address any impediments or roadblocks that may hinder the team's progress.

Work closely with stakeholders, such as Product Owners and management, to eliminate obstacles and provide a smooth working environment for the team.

Promote Collaboration

:

Foster a collaborative and cross-functional team environment. Encourage open communication, transparency, and knowledge sharing within the team and with external stakeholders.

Scrum Process Expert

:

Ensure adherence to the Scrum framework and agile principles. Educate the team and stakeholders about Scrum, its values, roles, and ceremonies. Continuously seek opportunities to improve the team's understanding and implementation of Scrum practices.

Metrics and Reporting

:

Monitor and report on the team's progress, using appropriate metrics and tools. Provide timely updates to stakeholders on the team's performance, sprint outcomes, and any potential risks or dependencies.

Continuous Improvement

:

Facilitate retrospectives and other feedback loops to promote continuous improvement.

Encourage the team to identify areas of improvement, experiment with new approaches, and implement changes that enhance their productivity and quality.

Collaboration with Product Owner

Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to ensure a clear understanding of product backlog items, prioritize user stories, and maintain a well-refined backlog.

Support the Product Owner in effectively managing and communicating the product vision, roadmap, and requirements.

Manage Jira and Jira Align data hygiene.
Work closely with Scrum Master/PO to manage ART level capacity/load.
Involved in production defect discussions and management.
Manages piloting and implementation of new tools and process.
Define Roles and Responsibilities at Team level for ART and maintain lists.
Communicate with stakeholders, escalate impediments, help manage risk and drive relentless improvement.
