Job Description and Requirements

Summary of Responsibilities:

Strong Linux administration skills and hands on experience on Various flavours of Linux (CentOS, RedHat, Ubuntu, SuSE).
Ability to manage/handle Severity tickets of L3 on priority related to Linux administration.
Good Scripting knowledge to Automate internal processes and procedures through ansible. Experience in working in NFS environment and Knowledge of LDAP services. Requires strong inter-personal and communication skills along with the ability to multi-task and solve problems. Able to schedule, prioritize, accomplish activities and communicate actions. With all aspects of UNIX system administration and experience with network operations is preferred. Craft clear and extensive documentation on system administration procedures for routine and complex tasks.


Basic Qualifications Skills and Education:


  • Typically requires a minimum of 810 years of related experience.
  • Solid hands on experience on Various flavours of Linux (RedHat, CentOS, SuSE, Ubuntu).
  • Expierience in Scripting languages (Python, Perl, Shell, Ansible)
  • Experience in Programming/DB in some administrative language (PHP, HTML, Java Script, jQuery, MYSQL, NOSQL, Apache) would be a plus
  • Containerization in Kubernetes, Docker would be a plus
  • Possesses a solid understanding of Unix/Linux administration skills
  • Resolves issues in creative ways.
  • Exercises independent judgment in selecting methods and techniques to obtain solutions.
  • Works on teamdriven or taskoriented projects.
