Position
The Fund is looking to add dynamic and passionate investment professional:

Role

  • Conduct detailed sectoral research to identify emerging opportunities
  • Identify, source, connect and evaluate earlystage global start ups
  • Maintain relationships with different business units of L&T, VCs, advisors, and incubators to identify themes and source / diligence earlystage deals
  • Conduct detailed due diligence to carve out investment thesis and prepare internal investment decks
  • Assist and selectively lead deal negotiations
  • Coordinate with internal & external legal teams to finalise term sheets, definitive documentation and closing investments
  • Monitor portfolio performance & assist portfolio companies in strategic / operational roadmap and connecting with L&T and other VC ecosystem
  • Manage portfolio exit related transactions

Experience / Skill Sets

  • At least three to eight year of work experience in early stage VC, CVC, investment banking, consulting or corporate development
  • Must have experience of closing/participating in few early stage deals
  • MBA or equivalent degree from leading institutes with engineering background
  • Has good network with other VC/CVC investors/start up ecosystem
  • Proactive, diligent, analytical with a passion to understanding new technologies and early stage investments
  • Excellent communication, presentation, writing and interpersonal skills
