Description

The primary focus of this role is to provide day to day management of the Central Stores with responsibility for day-to-day stores activity such as Receipt, issue, storage, inventory management, maintain store records, etc.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • GRN preparation, priority to QA, Batch wise KIT preparation for production and submission of cleared invoice to finance.
  • Material issuance with respect to monthly / weekly production plan &. Advance KIT preparation based on material receipt date, close coordination with planning, sourcing to keep uninterrupted material flow for production
  • Effective and time bound transactions and posting in SAP to match Physical Vs Book Stock
  • Review of NCR material coordinate with QA and sourcing for final disposition like, rework, reject and scrap and updating in system.
  • Handling outside shop orders for rework and job work for outside machining
  • Annual 100 % physical inventory counting and audit of process and accuracy by statutory auditors.
  • Identify and reporting of slow moving, nonmoving and obsolete inventory to management and coordination with quality, engineering and sourcing for its disposition.
  • Managed daily packing and shipments to customer as per company's quality standards. Served as primary logistics contact person for Pune Plant.
  • Planning of logistics for ODD dimension cargo, selection of vehicle required and share loading plan to transporter and ensures movement during transit along with cost beneficial
  • Export shipments coordination with CHA and forwarder, coordination for generation and approval of shipping bill check list, without any delay for vehicle GATE IN at Sea / Air Port.

The Individual

  • Any Graduate with 3 to 5 years of industrial experience.
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Sound knowledge of working in MS office, working knowledge of ERP systems, i.e. SAP is a plus.
  • Selfmotivated, result oriented with the ability to work both independently or in a team where required.
  • Support safe workplace cultures and compliance with Smiths EH&S
