    SHEOWS is a 30-year-old NGO based in New Delhi, India. We cater to the needs of over 500 abandoned and destitute elderly individuals by providing shelter, food, and other basic amenities. With four shelter homes across Delhi-NCR, U.P., and Haryana, we strive to make a significant difference in the lives of these neglected elders and provide them with a safe and caring environment where they can receive the love, care, and respect they deserve.

    Job Title: Project Associate

    Job Summary: The Project Associate with Placement Experience plays a key role in supporting various projects, with a specific focus on facilitating placements or employment opportunities for individuals. This role involves coordinating placement activities, engaging with stakeholders, and providing support to ensure successful outcomes for project participants.

    Minimum 5 years of experience required

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Placement Coordination:

    · Oversee the placement process for project participants, including job seekers, students, or program graduates.

    · Liaise with employers, industry partners, and recruitment agencies to identify placement opportunities.

    · Match candidates with suitable job openings based on their skills, qualifications, and career goals.

    2. Candidate Support and Preparation:

    · Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the placement process, including resume writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies.

    · Conduct assessments to evaluate candidates' skills, interests, and readiness for placement.

    · Offer personalized career counseling and development resources to enhance candidates' employability.

    3. Stakeholder Engagement:

    · Cultivate and maintain relationships with employers, educational institutions, and community organizations to facilitate placement opportunities.

    · Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align placement activities with project goals and objectives.

    · Represent the organization at networking events, job fairs, and industry meetings to promote placement initiatives.

    4. Data Management and Reporting:

    · Maintain accurate records of placement activities, including candidate profiles, employer contacts, and placement outcomes.

    · Compile and analyze placement data to track progress, measure success, and identify areas for improvement.

    · Prepare reports and presentations summarizing placement statistics, trends, and best practices.

    5. Project Support and Administration:

    · Assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of project initiatives, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.

    · Coordinate logistics for project-related events, meetings, and training sessions.

    · Support the project team in administrative tasks, such as scheduling, documentation, and correspondence.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Work, or a related field.
    • Previous experience in placement services, career counseling, or project coordination preferred.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management software.
    • Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices related to placement services.
