Act as a licensing staff between infection control Officer, infection control team and ward health team members.

Conduct regular rounds in all the clinical department of the hospital to discuss, monitor the infection control practices.
Review existing policies and SOPs and update them according to the recent guidelines.
Analyze the data on nosocomial infection through daily surveillance and culture reports collected by ICN.
To develop Infection control training calendar and to execute the same.
Conduct continuous training for ICN and the link nurses and other staffs.
Participate and organize scheduled hospital infection control meeting.
Report hospital infection outbreak to ICO and CNO.
Reporting hindrances to implement infection control practices.
Ensure that the annual audit schedule is planned and the same is executed by the ICN.
Ensure that that all the HAI data and Quality indicator data are completed and sent to quality department in a timely manner.
Monitor staff for current IC practices.
