  • Key Performance Indicators (Indicate how performance for this job will be measured) Define and shape overall program across value chain (suppliers and service providers); conduct sustainability survey
  • Establish the environment maturity ladder (climate and quality) for key suppliers and Ensure compliance and proactively manage risks associated with suppliers
  • Drive sustainability KPI for key suppliers (along with procurement); risk & opportunities assessment

Minimum requirements

  • What you'll bring to the role "Hands on" mindset and not afraid to go deep into technical details of environment or water related topics. Good knowledge of sustainability and TPRM practices and working experience in a variety of manufacturing processes and expertise in good manufacturing practices (GMP)
  • Excellent organizational, planning, resource and global project management skills. Global customer facing experience and stakeholder management and Proficient with data collection, data analysis and use of metrics. Having analytical skills to evaluate data and make operational decisions
  • Highly adaptable to our fast paced, dynamic and rapidly changing work environment. Ability to streamline and implement processes that create speed, efficiency, and support rapidly shifting business demands
  • Working knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including finance, procurement, sites and suppliers and Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to operate effectively in a global matrix environment
  • Collaboration with external stakeholders (PSCI, pharma industry, AMR IA) and provide insights/benchmarking with respect to the industry.

Desirable:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Engineering, Environmental or Sustainability related degree. Preferred MBA or master's in finance or general management, Information Systems or related fields or equivalent experiences with relevant GMP industry experience.
  • Overall, more than 10 years' experience out of which at least 8 years of experience with manufacturing or pharma industry and Experience in executing sustainability and compliance programs from ideation to execution. Adept at operating models seeking alignment from diverse partners to align with Novartis' strategy
