ROLE OVERVIEW

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Create, schedule and manage social media handles with reporting of analytics (design expertise for social posts is not mandatory). Proficient with LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, WhatsApp and Twitter social media platforms

  • Create, coordinate, organize, prepare communications material and followup for a variety of projects surrounding the development, preparation, and execution of IC3 Movement initiatives including sessions, workshops, speakers / presenters and programs, with deep attention to detail
  • Coordinate and maintain engagement with global volunteer committees
  • Understanding of IC3 mission and platforms
  • Administrative and other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

WORK EXPERIENCE:
Two to four years' prior experience in creative writing and/or marketing communications.

  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Extremely detailoriented
  • Proficient with social media platforms
Ability to plan in advance, multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Effective time management skills: ability to manage multiple projects and work with tight deadlines
  • Understanding of digital communication is preferred
  • Driven, selfstarter
  • Polished and professional demeanor with great flexibility and openness to feedback
  • Proficient at Microsoft Office programs, the Google Suite, experience preferred in additional social media scheduling and analytics tools, and other relevant software
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team

IMPACT & INFLUENCE:

This position will interact on a consistent basis with higher education leadership, high school counseling professionals/school leaders and teachers, college and university officials, and partner organizations/sponsors.
