Software Engineer (Systems): Designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for enhancements and new products.

Develops software and tools in support of design, infrastructure and technology platforms, including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases, cloud-based and Internet-related tools.

Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design.

In addition, they play SME's role for technical enablement and LOB technical robustness for seamless delivery of Business Critical and Assurance Services to our clients.


Key Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Perform successful implementation and execution of SDI solutions.
  • Contributes to the development of solution architectures in a specific business, SDI infrastructure, or functional areas. Defines and manages SDI solution requirements definition and prioritization activities for smallscale and largescale enterprise solution design and implementation.
  • Designs components using appropriate modeling techniques following agreed architectures, design standards, patterns, and methodology.
  • Ensure technical solutions accomplish the client's objectives.

Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:


  • Ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to demonstrate broad product knowledge integrated with strong technology understanding
  • Aptitude to keep abreast of latest technologies and changing market trends in Software-Defined IT infrastructure (e.g SD-WAN, SD-Datacenter, SD-Access) domain from Cisco, Palo Alto, VMware, Juniper, F5, Dell-EMC, and other similar vendors. Maintains awareness of opportunities provided by new technology to address challenges and improve operational efficiency. Within own sphere of influence (i.e. LOB), works to further organizational goals, by the study and use of emerging technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to establish and create excellent client relationships with their technical expertise
  • Ability to present technical solutions to nontechnical audiences
  • Knowledge of project/program management principles.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:


  • Relevant bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Relevant IT certifications.
  • CCIE R&S and DC preferred

Required Experience:


  • Demonstrated years of experience in mega technology architecture program implementation
  • Demonstrated years of experience required in diagnosis and troubleshooting, handling TAC, and technical services in a role as Technical L2/L3 engineer within a large ICT organization.
  • Demonstrated experience in client and escalation handling.
  • Demonstrated experience in problemsolving techniques.
  • Preferably multivendor experience in global service delivery environment
  • Expert knowledge of management agent, redundancy concepts, remote console architecture, project management, and products within the LOB technical domain (i.e. CC, NI, Security, Data center etc)
