JD :

  • Assisting the team in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the restaurant, providing a prompt and professional service to our guests.
To be responsible for creating a memorable dining experience within our restaurant.

  • To ensure the smoothrunning of the bar during service at all times
  • To prepare the drinks and the cocktails according to standard recipe
  • Setup the bar, including but not limited to: daily cleaning of all bar areas, equipment, dishwasher, stock up fridges and stations, prepare mise en place prior the start of each shift.
  • Assist with the receiving of stock; ensuring stock is stored correctly, communicate any errors to the Bar Manager and Goods In team when required.
  • Assist with stock count, ancillary stock count, wastage records, and at all times ensure the restaurant has adequate supplies for the shift, including all crockery, glassware, cutlery, condiments, fresh fruit and herbs, etc.
  • To place orders and collect payment through point of sales, replenish stations when required and wash utensils, glassware and crockery after each use.
  • Ensure the stations and the bar area are of utmost cleanliness throughout service.
  • Assist in setting up the bar for any special or private events as per briefing.
  • Etiquette with guests: Refer to all guests as 'Sir' or 'Madam,' always allow a guest right of way, assist guests with requests, when serving food and beverage ladies must be served first, if you are not able to assist a guest with their query ensure the guest is attended to by a Head Bartender or Manager.
  • Alert the Head Bartender or Manager of any spillages, challenging guests, intruders in the restaurant / building, etc.
  • Attend to bar guests at all times, recognise and acknowledge regular and PX guests, regularly provide feedback to Managers, ensuring every guest has received the brand experience and immediately inform Managers should a guest not be content with their dining experience.
  • Determine when a guest has had too much alcohol in order to limit liabilities.
  • Assist with the training programme for new employees when required.
  • Take the initiative to study and learn all menus and attend food and beverage training to understand the ingredients and cooking/creation method of each dish/beverage to be able to describe these to the guest when required.
  • To maintain standards at all times by observing the service techniques of all colleagues and correcting as necessary
  • Attend training sessions and read training notes to continually further your skills and knowledge.
  • To record daily breakages and to help to minimise breakages by enforcing the house rules
  • To exceed target revenue through maximising cover potential and achieving minimum spend
  • To observe Dry Days and ensure rules are followed strictly by politely informing to guests

Qualifications:

  • WSET L
  • Basic food safety
  • Good command of the English language
Previous relevant experience in a similar position within a fast-paced environment.


Salary:
₹20, ₹30,544.34 per month
