Introduction

We are looking for skilled QA/Automation Engineer to join our IBM AIOps Insights Team. Our mission is to process and analyze an impressive volume of spans, traces, metrics, and events every second. This enables us to deliver actionable APM intelligence to our ever-growing customer community.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a QA/Automation Engineer in AIOps Insights, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

Your work will directly contribute to the success of our mission and the satisfaction of our customers.

At IBM, you will use the latest software development tools, techniques and approaches and work with leading minds in the industry to build solutions you can be proud of.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

13 years experience in a QA position

- min. 2 years experience with a major programming language like Java, JavaScript, Go, Python, C/C++

Understanding of version control systems ( Git, etc.), including branching and merging strategies
Experience with software build tools (Travis) and continuous integration tools (Jenkins)
Experience using testing frameworks
Experience working in an agile environments
Strong technical communication skills
Experienced using frameworks
Able and eager to learn new languages, frameworks and tools
Fluent in written and spoken English.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

35 years experience in a QA position

- min. 2 years experience with a major programming language like Java, JavaScript, Go, Python, C/C++
