The opportunity
The SharePoint Operations Engineer is part of a global SharePoint team in a large, complex, and multinational environment. They have expert knowledge in SharePoint (both Cloud and On-Prem).

The individual will be providing Level 3 Operational/Engineering support for areas involving SharePoint Online, with a good understanding of SPO and associated technologies, SharePoint On-Prem, MS Teams, OneDrive for Business, and other M365 services.


Your key responsibilities

  • Indepth knowledge of SharePoint, its features, and related M365 services.
  • Experience in installing and configuring SharePoint 2016,2019 & SE.
  • Good troubleshooting skills in both sharepoint onprem (2016/SE) along with SPO.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft PowerShell scripting & automation.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of CSOM, MSMQ & Provider Hosted Apps (PHA).
  • Intermediate experience with continuous integration systems.
  • Understanding of multiple access and authentication models such as NTLM, Kerberos, Claimsbased, ADFS, SSL, card services, TMG, UAG, etc.
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting tools and techniques related to networks and systems i.e. remote access tools, Windows Support tools, connectivity tests, etc.
  • Detailed understanding of both Classic and Modern SharePoint functionality including Lists, Document Libraries, Pages, Search, Permissions, and Settings
  • Indepth support knowledge and experience in providing 24/7 support for SharePoint
  • Indepth knowledge in troubleshooting SharePoint end user/client issues.
  • Indepth knowledge in SharePoint permissions, webparts, lists, views and any other site level issues.
  • Expert knowledge in Incident management, Service requests, Change requests and ServiceNow processes for SP support.
  • Indepth knowledge on SharePoint support workflow, level 1, level 2 and level 3. This role is for Level 3 support.
  • Capability to help customer to fix the issue and/or create tickets for Microsoft for further troubleshooting.
  • Indepth knowledge on PowerShell scripting and automation experience using scripts.
