Pune, Maharashtra with travel to the rural geography of Velhe Block, Pune District

Description:

Provide end-to-end assistance to the Program Team in creating feasible and sustainable programs in the Disability & Mental Health vertical.

This vertical includes a rural community mental health program and a disability and livelihood program.


Responsibilities:


  • Ensure comprehensive primary and secondary research for developing the program design
  • Be the first level of support for the Program Manager in the endtoend planning process and strategic design of the rural and urban programs
  • Be the first level of support in conducting outreach, due diligence, and engagement with knowledge and implementation partners
  • Coordinate with the field officer and be the first level of support for the Program Manager to gather data and feedback from the ground to improve program design Assist in the smooth execution of the programs on the ground in coordination with the Field Implementation Manager
  • Develop quality analytical pieces for respective projects, partners, knowledge portals, and interesting articles for external stakeholders for knowledge sharing and dissemination

Qualification:


  • Masters (or an equivalent degree) from a reputed institution in social work, gender studies, psychology, humanities, or any related discipline

Experience:


  • Fresher 1 year of experience

Capabilities:


  • Strong thematic understanding of gender and mental health
  • Practical experience of working on development projects with a focus on marginalized populations
  • Strong sense of conducting primary and secondary research
  • Strong Systems Thinking skills
  • Good collaboration skills and selfstarter
  • Proficient communication skills in English and Marathi (Both Verbal and Written) Working knowledge of MS Office is essential
