ARCHITECT for Real Estate Industry


Salary: 20+ LPA (negotiable)


Job Summary:


We are looking for an experienced in-house Architect for our Commercial and residential Real Estate projects for monitoring all phases of architectural work including planning, designing and overseeing the entire design process.

You will be involved in new building designs, extensions, alterations, restorations and conservations from the earliest stages right through to completion.

The goal is to match needs and to ensure that architects produce sustainable, functional and aesthetically pleasing designs of desired products.

Work shall be carried out through external architects and consultants appointed by the Company.


Responsibilities and duties:

  • To interact with external architects and consultants appointed by the Company for getting designs and drawings made for residential and commercial real estate spaces, with creativity, originality and with aesthetics par excellence.
  • Control project design from start to finish, to ensure high quality, innovative and functional design as per Company's target projects.
  • Arrange to get detailed blueprints and then to implement any necessary modifications to designs / drawings from external architects and consultants.
  • Help compile project specifications.
  • Keep within budgets and timelines.
  • Ensure that all designs are carried out with specific standards, building codes, guidelines and regulation, as decided by Company and as per statutory requirements.
  • Make on site visits to check on project status and report on project, from the architects' perspective.
  • Cooperate and liaise with construction professionals, to aid design related aspects of a project.
  • Follow architectural trends and advancements.

Work Experience:

  • 10+ years' of work experience working in residential and commercial architectural design.
  • Strong portfolio to prove artistic and creative skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and software programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Newforma, etc.
  • Expert knowledge of building materials, finishing materials, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards.
  • Strong imagination and the ability to think and create in three dimensions.
  • Visual awareness and an eye for details.
  • Communication and project management skills, as required from an architect incharge of designs and design implementation.

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Design or related field (M. Arch preferred)

Salary:
From ₹2,000,000.00 per year
