    This is your chance to be part of the revolution - we are inviting applications for our inhouse position for an Associate Director - Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Governance, and Regulatory Compliance.

    Job Summary:

    We seek an experienced and dynamic lawyer to join our team as an Associate Director.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for managing legal aspects related to Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), corporate governance, investor relations, ensuring compliance with SEBI regulations, IRDAI regulations, etc.

    fund- raising activities, and ensuring compliance with Shareholders' Agreement (SHA).

    The ideal candidate should have a strong background in law, with a preference for those with past law firm experience and a minimum of 5 years of post- qualification experience (PQE).

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    M&A Management:


    • Oversee and provide legal support for mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions
    • Conduct due diligence and ensure compliance with all legal requirements during the M&A process
    Governance &

    Compliance:



    • Develop and implement corporate governance policies and procedures
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including SEBI and IRDAI regulations
    Investor Relations:


    • Act as a key point of contact for investor relations, addressing legal queries and providing necessary information to investors
    Fund Raising:


    • Assist in structuring and negotiating fundraising transactions
    • Draft and review legal documentation related to fundraising activities
    Shareholders' Agreement (SHA)

    Compliance:



    • Ensure compliance with the terms and conditions outlined in the Shareholders' Agreement
    • Draft, review, and negotiate SHAs to protect the company's interests
    Qualification & Experience:


    • Bachelor's degree in Law from a recognized institution
    • Admission to the Bar with a minimum of 5 years of post qualification experience
    • Previous experience in a law firm, particularly in the areas of M&A, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance
    • In depth knowledge of SEBI and IRDAI regulations
    • Strong negotiation and communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment
