This role will be a hybrid in-office position, with the expectation of at least two (2) days per week in office.


About the role:

Reporting to the Executive Producer, the Producer leads a team of Associate Producer charged with creating short
- and long-form digital content for the Reader's Digest, Poke My Heart and People Are Awesome websites and social channels. In addition to managing the APs' workflow and ensuring deadlines are met, the Producer provides creative feedback to ensure each piece of content meets brand guidelines and is held to the highest quality standard. In addition to being an effective manager and coach, the Producer is a creative video expert with excellent writing skills, a deep understanding of short
- and long-form video content production and extensive knowledge of best practices for audience engagement and performance across TMB's diverse platforms. Organized with the ability to multitask effectively, you're eager to be part of a growing, award-winning video team.


About you:


Your day-to-day:


  • Ensure the effective execution of creative vision for the Reader's Digest, Poke My Heart and People Are Awesome video content
  • Manage Associate Producers (APs) and their output
  • Produce and manage all video content in conjunction with the studio production team in the US and India
  • Craft compelling and relatable copy
  • Support the US brand Producer and Creative team in the creation of franchise shortform clipbased content and oversee the editorial process needed to execute it
  • Manage and track the brand's revolving slate of content
  • Source and approve clips from acquisitions to curate the best content for the brand
  • Perform QC and overall optimization before the content is published
  • Work with the VP/Digital Studio (US) and Executive Producer to manage the team and establish programming creative and cadence across all major social platforms
  • Work with the VP/Digital Studio
  • US and Executive Producer to plan original video that aligns with the brand's annual content themes and global content calendar
  • Deliver projects with the highest quality in a timely manner
  • Develop work plans and realistic timetables for video content
  • Coordinate internal and external business requirements to define project objectives, tasks and deliverables for projects, including coordinating with the US Digital Studio
  • Lead by example and be willing to help with the entire spectrum of production work, from small to large productions to community engagement to posting for the channels
  • Other duties as assigned by Vice President, Digital Studio (US) and VP/Creative (IN)

Requirements:


  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a seniorlevel producer, director in a production environment (digital, production, broadcast, post)
  • Knowledge and understanding of standard production/posttech tools and workflow
  • Excellent writer, preferably with experience writing for an audience based largely in the US
  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, and other video production tools
  • Deep knowledge of and experience creating highperforming content for all social platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Twitch, TikTok, Reddit, Snapchat, etc.)
  • Experience executing from inception through editorial and completion of a project
  • Strong organizational, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Selfmotivated and willing to expand knowledge
  • Solid leadership skills with the ability to communicate strategy and objectives clearly
