"Job Description:

The Scrum Master is a servant-leader for the Scrum Team helping everyone understand Scrum theory, practices, rules, and values. The Scrum Master helps those outside the Scrum Team understand their interactions with the Scrum Team.

  • Supporting the Product Owner and Development Team to deliver value
  • Guiding and Coaching the Scrum Team and the organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values
  • Guiding and Coaching the Scrum Team on how to get the most out of selforganization
  • Helping to refine and groom the Product Backlog with the Product Owner
  • Assessing the agile maturity of the team and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization
  • Removing impediments (people, process or tools) that hinders agility within the team
  • Building a safe environment to stimulate innovation
  • Assisting with internal and external communication, and improving transparency leveraging visual dashboarding to keep information up to date
  • Manage stakeholders outside the team as required

Skills & Requirements:

  • Scrum Master certifications (PSM I, CSM, PSM II, PSM III, CSP, CTC)
  • Total overall experience of 1014 years. In this overall experience, should be playing the Scrum Master role for at least 24 years for a Scrum Team
  • Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
  • Experience being on multiple Scrum teams in a variety of different contexts (different team sizes, different organizations, different cultures, colocated vs. distributed, etc.)
  • Knowledge of other approaches discussed in the Agile space: XP, Kanban, Nexus, LeSS, SAFe, DevOps etc.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games
  • Software development background is an advantage "
