    Description

    About this role:
    Wells Fargo is looking for an individual with a strong background in controls and internal audit within financial services to fill the Senior Auditor position.

    In this role, you will:

    • Conduct audit testing for assigned audits across different segments of the Audit Plan
    • Plan and execute independent audit testing ensuring timeliness and accuracy
    • Identify and evaluate key risks and controls
    • Document work in compliance with Wells Fargo Audit Services policy
    • Develop compensating controls to address audit findings and provide recommendations to management
    • Alert manager of any issues that could impact objectivity
    • Design and implement tests to assess control effectiveness
    • Maintain work papers following Internal Audit policy standards
    • Approach audits with professional skepticism
    • Lead smaller audits or projects
    • Suggest improvements to current audit practices
    • Create effective test plans for assigned engagements
    • Participate in directed projects
    • Establish relationships within Internal Audit and cross-functional teams through clear communication and deliverables

    Required Qualifications:

    • 4+ years of experience in Internal Audit, Risk Management, or related fields demonstrated through work experience, training, or education

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Preferably CIA, CA, CPA, or CFE certified
    • Graduates with strong internal audit experience in financial services
