Primary Roles & Responsibilities in this role as an Application Architect:

  • Software development: Participate in all aspects of the software development process, such as determining business goals, prototype modeling, risk evaluation and customization for business stakeholders.
  • Thought leadership: Attending conferences and conduct industry research with business partners to establish thought leadership and bring new knowledge to the organization.

Required Role Specific Experience:


  • Involvement in requirement analysis phase to ensure the implementation feasibility of functional specifications. Highlight requirement gaps, disproportional construction efforts, technical challenges, and any other issues to business analyst teams.
  • Provide technical leadership in the development through established design and development methodologies, to ensure system meets functional and system requirements.
  • Experience in designing solutions from business point of view and has an ability to analyze relevant software tools (open source or COTS) / SaaS solutions, interdependencies, limitations with reference to functional requirements, system architecture and industry's standards.
  • Review the detailed design against the acceptance criteria and checklist.
  • Review the software requirements and assumptions for the solution and resolve conflicts and inconsistencies with the stakeholders.
  • Ensure best practices, frameworks and reuseable components are employed in the development projects.
  • Develop models based on existing architecture, organizational policies, and standards.
  • Expertise in rolling out Application Development, Security & Performance improvement & reviews processes, procedures, standards, and best practices.

Mandatory Skills:


  • Having a strong technical knowledge and hands on experience on Cloud services (PaaS and SaaS): in Microsoft Azure

ETL pipelines like MS Azure (Azure Data Factory, Databrick jobs - PySpark/Scala/SQL OR Azure Synapse Analytics)

Identity Management & Active Directory (Security) and well versed with secure coding practices using Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) security framework.

Applications monitoring like Azure Insights, third-party tools AppDynamics, New Relic from Performance improvement point of views.

Must have strong Integration experience with third-party/external systems, legacy, and CRM platforms (MS Dynamics highly preferred, Salesforce) is expected.**:


  • Highly proficient in programming language, such as.
Net, Python, Java, SQL, web-development frameworks, and tools, such as, Angular JS, Bootstrap and Gulp:


  • Strong communication skills ability to present design & implementation approach in a structured and compelling a manner to drive alignment with stakeholder.
  • Working with global remote teams

Desired Skills:


  • Preferred to have knowledge on cloud storage technologies (OLTP & OLAP)
  • Understanding of big data platforms concepts and NoSQL technologies is good to have.
  • Ability to configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Cloud Services
  • Strong familiarity with emerging digital frameworks and patterns, Information Security and Data access controls
  • Knowledge of IoT platforms and data collection solutions to support IoT projects (i.e., business automation, manufacturing, asset management, health, asset tracking, smart utilities, etc.)
  • Cloud Certification will be a plus.
  • Technical acumen and proficiency in Agile and DevOps methodologies (like Source Control & CICD Process) & supporting tools, and governance/standards.
