Job Title:
Donor Recognition Coordinator**
Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive donor recognition program to acknowledge and appreciate donors for their contributions and support.
Manage the donor database, ensuring accurate and uptodate donor information, gift records, and communication preferences.
Coordinate with the fundraising team to gather donor information and updates, ensuring timely and accurate acknowledgment of donations.
Create personalized and meaningful donor recognition strategies, including thankyou letters, certificates, plaques, and other forms of recognition.
Plan and execute donor recognition events, including donor appreciation dinners, award ceremonies, and other special occasions to celebrate donors' impact.
Collaborate with the marketing and communications teams to create donorcentric content, such as impact stories, testimonials, and social media shoutouts.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with donors, serving as a primary point of contact for inquiries, requests, and updates.
Conduct regular communication with donors to provide updates on the organization's programs, achievements, and future initiatives.
Identify opportunities to deepen donor engagement, such as inviting donors to participate in advisory boards, volunteer opportunities, or exclusive donor events.
Research and implement best practices in donor recognition and stewardship, staying updated on industry trends and innovative strategies.
Track and analyze donor engagement metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of recognition efforts and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with the fundraising and finance teams to ensure accurate and transparent reporting of donor contributions and financial stewardship.
Assist in the development and execution of fundraising campaigns, providing donorcentric insights and support.
Stay informed about relevant regulations and guidelines related to donor recognition, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive donor information with professionalism and discretion.

Required Skills & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, communications, business, or a related field. Additional certifications in fundraising or donor relations are a plus.
35 years of experience in donor relations, stewardship, fundraising, or related roles, preferably in the nonprofit sector or crowdfunding platforms.
Excellent interpersonal and relationshipbuilding skills, with the ability to connect and communicate effectively with donors.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage donor records, acknowledgments, and recognition activities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling donor

- centric messages and materials.

Proficiency in using donor management software and databases.
Knowledge of fundraising principles and practices, particularly in the area of donor cultivationand stewardship.
Familiarity with nonprofit financial management and reporting.
Ability to work collaboratively in crossfunctional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software and tools.
Passion for the mission and values of the nonprofit crowdfunding organization.
