Introduction:

  • The Scrum master/PM will be responsible for the day to day activities of Agile feature teams to ensure each sprint is successfully managed from a time and quality perspective.
Championing agile ways of working, growing and promoting cultural best practices, such as backlog management, stories sizing

What will you be doing?

  • Leading an agile feature team to deliver business value in a timely manner
  • Run the daily scrum, sprint planning, backlog refinement and showcase sessions, retrosepctive
  • Use continuous improvement techniques, tools and metrics to measure productivity and quality
  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal business stakeholders, product owners, designers, dependent technology teams, Solution Architecture teams, test manager and release managers
  • Focusing on improving and tracking feature team velocity and instil Agile best practice in the team working closely with agile coaches and engineering managers to achieve this
  • Focus on scrum team efficiency and making sure tracking of key metrics is utilised correctly within the team
  • Communicate directly with business analysts, project managers, and users understanding detailed business requirements at all stages of the SDLC
  • Stakeholder management and Communication
  • Communicate effectively with the internal IT development teams and the local development manager.
  • Work closely with global team members in US, London, Prague, Glasgow, Chennai, Pune

What we're looking for:

  • 10+ years experience working in technology Change management area with minimum of 34 years as a
Scrum Master

  • Scrum Alliance certified Scrum Master
  • Strong understanding of Agile, scrum and related methodologies
  • Experience in working in an endtoend software development lifecycle
  • Strong analytical skills with data driven approach and ability to grasp technical design
  • Effective stakeholder management and communication skills, comfortable presenting to large/senior
audiences

  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Proactive and persistent in delating with impediments and seeking improvements
  • Excellent understanding of Atlassian and issue management tooling such as Jira
  • Strong Project Management skills (e.g. Planning, RAIDs, Stakeholder Management)
  • Understanding of Agile, Kanban, Waterfall methodologies
  • Ability to drive and facilitate workshops, working groups and forums with crossfunctional people across the board
  • Proven experience of operating in a matrix management framework
