RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a V&V designer, he/she needs to perform the following:
Test and prove the SW modules performs required functions using both Blackbox and Whitebox methodologies
Applies SW processes & standards required for SW testing
Realizes Performance testing of SW modules

- document General and functional testing issues

Prepares test cases and performs SW V&V deliverables depending on associated Product development organization.
Familiar with configuration management, Defect management
Maintains the traceability from Software requirement to Test cases and defects.
Create defects in tool with required logs, steps to reproduce and required details.
SW module Integration, functional and Non-Functional testing and Performance
Perform Reviews on software design and on test artifacts developed by peers
Guide the newcomers during development to achieve the QCD

Qualifications & Skills:

EDUCATION

Bachelor/Post Graduate in Engineering
IT, CS, ECE & EEE or Equivalent

BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES:

Demonstrate excellent communication skills and able to guide, influence and convince others in a matrix organization
Outstanding Technical leader with proven track record in managing multi software programs towards successful delivery.
Be Innovative and demonstrate to peers and implement in creation of Reference Libraries, reusable codes, and modelbased developments
Be individual contributor, Ability to work independently and take decisions.
Team Player with prior experience in working with European customer is not mandatory but preferable.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE:

Good knowledge of SQL server and querying
Very good understanding of the complete V&V process
Good understanding of different software methodologies like waterfall, Agile etc.
Fair idea of automation testing with knowledge of any scripting language like python.
Very good experience in product testing and software integration testing.
Very good experience in external interface and simulator testing.
Experience in Creation of Release Notes, Test plan, Test description, Test report
Experience in tools like Clearquest, GIT, ALM, Jira.

SOFTWARE SKILLS:

35 years of experience in Software Product Functional and Non-Functional Testing (Performance, Load testing etc) using both Black Box and White Box approaches
Good understanding of GIT HUB, ALM
Good experience in Test automation
Experience in C#, python is additional advantage
IT Skills: MS office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
