We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of
Analyst

What you'll do:


  • To be an integral team member of the ESG team within Global Research:
  • Conducting Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) analysis on HSBC covered companies.
  • Ensuring high quality of ESG data with consistency across the region and sector
  • Good understanding of global reporting standards related to ESG.
  • Collaboration with senior stakeholders for effective implementation of ESG framework
  • Remain focused on key development in ESG space to further develop the overall framework.
Requirements


What will you need to succeed in the role?

  • Master's degree in business management is preferable but not a must. Being proactive with a positive attitude and high energy are key personal/professional attributes. This role also requires constant communication and collaboration with teammates.

Skills required.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Handson experience in dealing and managing large data sets.
  • Working within a tight deadline's framework
  • Attention to detail.

What additional skills will be good to have?

  • MBA in Finance from reputed institutes with experience in ESG
  • Diligent, organized and should be able to work in a team.
  • Proficient at using MS Excel and MS word.
  • Knowledge of financial databases such as Bloomberg and/or Reuters will be preferred.
