Salubrious Technologies is a fast moving technology startup that is focused on the healthcare sector.

Salubrious is in the process of launching its beta SaaS (Software as a Service) offering in the next 8-10 weeks and is aggressively expanding on the back of strong demand in the health-tech space.

The primary SaaS offering of Salubrious is geared towards digital consultations and targets doctors, patients and pharmacies in both urban as well as rural regions.

Salubrious has been developing its telemedicine offerings since the last 4 years through the brand Online Chikitsa Mitra in the remote regions of Uttar Pradesh.

It is now aiming to bring its deep knowledge of digital consultations to the national stage through its SaaS offering to take a major step towards its vision of making quality digital healthcare accessible to all.

Job Summary and Tasks:

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer who is a self-motivated, quick learner and wants to take on the challenge of creating UIs for users across the entire spectrum ranging from sophisticated professional doctors requiring several bells and whistles to simple folks with mínimal to no experience operating mobile phones.

In any given week you can expect to be working on most of these activities:

Creating design guidelines and user stories for web apps and mobile apps
Documenting and Communicating effectively with the developers the design guidelines
Taking UI/UX decisions regarding the product in
Putting practices in place at the organisation to ensure product iterations get progressively quicker and ensure good design choices become easier to make
Planning methods for user research study and finding key insights from these studies
Driving design decisions based on empirical data derived from user experience researches
Bringing diverse perspectives to product design discussions
Planning UI/UX for the next generation of the service offering
Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand project requirements and user needs.
Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitor analysis to inform design decisions.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that effectively communicate the intended user experience.

Key Requirements:

Self-Motivated & Passionate about design with a desire to create an impact through design: This is the first UI/UX position at the company and there will be little technical handholding provided however you will be provided the opportunity to explore your concepts and ideas and develop and refine them while developing UI and UX that will be used directly by our users.
Self-Learner: You might not have experienced first hand all of the best practices in the industry around UI/UX design but you know them and you want to put them to practice, that is great, we thrive for opportunities to put best practices to effect at our organisation.
Experience working with tools like Figma, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Experience with FinalCutPro is an advantage
Experience with HTML and CSS styling is critical

What would success in this position look like?

In the first 3 months

Timely beta launch of services with acceptable UIs and a plan for forthcoming iterative changes
Alignment of the development team with regards to styling as per product vision
Marketing collaterals for beta launch

In the first 6 months

Creation of design documentation for two key offerings
Conducting UX research and creating user stories based on research and identifying insights
Marketing collaterals for final launch
Refinements in services focused on UX

In the first year

Planning and Creation of a design roadmap for Salubrious
Creation of a design philosophy for Salubrious

Knowledge:
Must have certification (diploma or bachelors) in design related discipline or have primary experience in the UI/UX domain. Must have knowledge of tools like Figma, Illustrator, PS, etc.

Skills:
Process Oriented & Methodical, Self-Motivated, Self-Learner, Effective & Clear Communication

Total Experience Required:
minimum 5 Years

Salary:
₹30, ₹60,000.00 per month
