Responsibilities:

Adhere to project plans, timelines, deliverables and quality plans
Develop new technical innovations and costeffective & creative solutions to complex engineering and design problems
Work in conjunction with designers, engineers and fabrication resources using materials science, design & engineering skills, and process knowledge to meet or exceed customer expectations
Build & utilize finite element models for complex structural components and use finite element analysis (FEA), optimization, and statistical tools to guide the design
Recognize what type of engineering material data is required to perform engineering analyses, & be familiar with analysis solver material models, understanding capabilities, limitations and applicability
Properly document all technical learnings internally
Secure intellectual property including invention disclosures, case filings, and office actions
Consistently and proactively engage in value generating sixsigma projects
Interface with other PARC / core R&D personnel to promote continuous improvement of engineering disciplines, communication and teamwork
Define technology gaps & develop improvement roadmaps

Education Requirement:

B.E. / B.Tech + M.Tech - Mechanical engineering. Doctoral degree preferred

Experience Requirement:

2 to 10 years of relevant experience
