The team you'll part of - Mobile Networks**Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).


What you will learn and contribute to

Skillsets & Requirements:


  • Expertise in 5G Radio Network planning including, but not limited to the following:
  • Knowledge on 5G SA and NSA technology
  • Knowledge of beamforming technology, carrier aggregation, VONR
  • Planning of 5G network
  • Link Budget preparation for 5G, capacity Dimensioning
  • Detailed network coverage planning using planning tools
  • PCI planning, Neighbor planning,
  • Parameter planning and inputs to site configuration file preparation
- knowledge of Radio product, architecture, E2E Network overview and interfaces


As part of our team, you will be responsible

  • Manage the delivery of network planning projects according to the agreed scope of work (SoW), while managing customer's expectations and schedule of acceptance.
  • Manage the team of planning experts
  • Collect all design assumptions for the assigned market from Project & Customer Lead, including antenna database, morphology classes, coverage boundaries, site database, hotspots, service expectations, traffic data, and regulatory data
  • Study the RF design coverage maps and identify problem areas in terms of coverage, interference, or pilot pollution.
  • Validate and analyze Design Optimization data, and format and compile all required output reports.
  • Discussions with customer on final design and analysis and acceptance
  • Coordinate the CW drive and model tuning

Tools Knowledge:


  • Experience on using and managing GIS tools like Mapinfo
  • Knowledge and practice of planning tool like atoll, planet, 995
  • CW drive kit and model tuning process


  • MS Office

  • Excel, PowerPoint

Your skills and experience

  • Minimum Experience of 1518 years in radio planning
  • Experience on Nokia 5G / 4G systems will be treated as an added advantage
