Validation of the novel fluorescence imaging instrument: seeTB system", under Principal

Investigator

  • Dr Nasreen Z Ehtesham, Sharda School of Basic Sciences and Research,
only shortlisted applicants will be called for interview. The duration of the appointment is for a

period of one year or till the end of the project.

POST:
Scientist C (non-medical)


Number of Post:
One

Age Limit: 40 Years


Consolidated pay:
As per ICMR norms


Essential Qualifications:
1st class Master's Degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology/ Biosciences/ related areas from a
recognized university with four years' experience in relevant field.

OR
2nd class Master's Degree plus PhD degree in Microbiology/ Biotechnology/Life Sciences/
related areas from a recognized university with four years' experience in relevant field.


Desirable:
relevant area. Prior experience in TB research/ Drug development/non communicable

diseases/ handling pathogenic microorganisms in BSL2+ Laboratory. Ability to design and

execute independent research studies.

POST:
Research Assistant


Number of Post:
Two

Age Limit: 35 Years

university with three years work experience from a recognized institution or Master's degree


Desirable:
M.Sc with experience in carrying out general laboratory procedures. Knowledge
of computer and experince in handling of pathogenic microoganisms shall be preferred.

POST:
Lab Techinician


Number of Post:
One

Age Limit: 30 Years

experience OR Two years field/laboratory experience (B.Sc. degree shall be treated as 3
years experience).


Desirable:
B.Sc./M.Sc. Microbiology / Biotechnology with work experience in diagnostic
Microsoft Office/ report preparation shall be preferred.

Field Worker

Laboratory Technology (DMLT)


Desirable:
Experience in Blood collection, Sputum collection and processing. Knowledge of

Essential Qualifications:
High School or Equivalent


Desirable:
Experience in carrying out general laboratory procedures. Basic knowledge of

elsewhere should provide NOC from current employer. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the
