Job Title - Principal - Architect - CTG Architecture, Fidelity Application Architecture

In this Architect role within Fidelity's Application Architecture (FAA) business unit, you are responsible for driving technology strategy and architecture across a range of new and existing capabilities in the Corporate Technology Group (CTG) business unit.

The Purpose of This Role

You provide leadership to the Legal Risk & Compliance product teams through architecture designs, adoption of emerging standards, and collaboration with key partners.

You will operate at a product area level providing technical leadership and architecture, which support programs and projects for CTG's business partners.

The role also requires collaboration and interaction opportunities with architects across the firm in forums like TAGx as well as external to Fidelity (_e.g._ industry consortia and solution/vendor interactions).

You will also take a leadership role in establishing multi-year blueprints for the CTG domain and roadmaps for the IT Product Lines and IT Products.

The Skills that are Key to this role

Technical / Behavioral

Experience in BFSI /FinTech or similar high compliance/regulatory environment
Experience in proposing blueprints and roadmaps, and collaboratively defining solutions and their enabling architectures.
Experience in Architecting Automated CI/CD pipelines for IaC (Infrastructure as Code) using tools like Jenkins Core, Github Actions, or similar modern solutions
Experience in leading the resolution to multifaced technical challenges in a multi stakeholder environment.
Experience in Amazon Services such as VPC, EKS, EC2, ECS, S
Experience driving adoption of enterprise standards and standard methodologies
Excellent presentation, documentation, communication and influencing skills as well as skills for influencing technology direction in business context

The Skills that are Good To Have for this role

Strong understanding of security on cloud and ability to design and implement security controls on the cloud
Experience in rolling out Terraform, developing Terraform Modules, managing states, Developing coding standards and best practices and overall governance for IaC
Experience in designing, building, deploying, and managing workloads as Containers in Kubernetes environment
Experience in developing reusable templates and offer selfservice developer experience to deploy those patterns.

The Expertise We're Looking For

6+ years of experience in defining and delivering on enterprisegrade architectures, strategies, and business capabilities
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a technology related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, et c.) required.
