NetWeaver Specialist

Job Description:
The SAP NetWeaver Specialist is responsible for managing and supporting the Deloitte Global SAP systems

and technical environments to ensure high availability, optimal performance, and overall data integrity. In this role, you will

provide SAP Basis engineering and support for multiple system landscapes and a variety of global stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

GENERAL DUTIES
Technical support for the operations and implementation services of the SAP technology for Deloitte Global.
Implementation Services:
Landscape Design
System installations including OS Kernel preparation, DB, SAP and specific addon?s and plugins
System upgrades Installation of support packages, OSS notes and language supplementation
Solution Manager integration
Preventative and corrective system monitoring
Batch job management and monitoring
Transport management
System Administration; Examples:
Definition and verification of backup schedules
Client copies
System exports/copies/restores
Printer definition maintenance
Database maintenance
SAProuter maintenance
SAPGUI maintenance and Rollout coordination
Technical/server security administration
Server patch and vulnerability management
Develops howto guides, technical tips, and run books
WORK COMPLEXITY
Job has high level of technical complexity: knowledge of SAP technology components, database, operating

system, NetWeaver Portal, Business Objects, HANA and network components

Job requires a high degree of judgment related to the system administration lifecycle
Significant interaction with functional team, security team and the developers
Moderate level of functional knowledge and skills required
ANALYSIS & PROBLEM SOLVING
Requires deep, intuitive analytical and problemsolving skills to quickly address and resolve technical

incidents

Proactive in the identification and resolution of issues that may negatively impact a project or deliverables.

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO ADEQUATELY PERFORM THIS ROLE:

Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
68 years technical SAP prior relevant experience required for this position
Advanced knowledge of NetWeaver SAP System Administration (Basis) including ECC and S/4HANA, NetWeaver
Portal(7.x), Business Objects(4.x), Data Services (4.x), Solution Manager, Gateway, etc.
Advanced knowledge of Windows 2016/SQL Server 2019 platform, on x64 (64bit) servers
Knowledge of ITIL and standard Infrastructure Operations Processes for Incident, Problem, and Change Management ? Experience operating in Agile, DevSecOps environment ? Strong professional presence with effective interpersonal skills, time management skills and customer s
