Business Development Executive

JOB SUMMARY:


This position is responsible to bring business for center by generating leads for admission to various paramedical courses offered by the GD Goenka Healthcare Academy.

Job includes handling many activities simultaneously needing strong organization skills & work most of the time in the field. Excellent communication both in Kannada and English is needed for working with students, colleges and other stakeholders.


MAIN JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • To generate leads for admission to the Paramedical Courses offered by the academy.
  • To visit colleges, meet faculty and principal to inform about courses offered and seek permission to conduct promotional activities in the campus.
  • To seek permission from Principal to conduct free career counseling sessions/seminars
  • To undertake door to door visit and explain about courses to prospective students.
  • Organize and conduct promotional activities such as:
  • Flyer distribution in student activity areas
  • Flyer/pamphlet insertion in local newspapers
  • Canopy activity in nearby communities/Societies/college campuses
  • Putting up banner & posters in prominent areas
  • To appoint and work with freelance mobilisers
  • To tieup with pharmacies, Stationary shops, Xerox centers, Hostel/PGs to promote our courses
  • To undertake cold calling using database and invite students to the center.
  • Invite all leads to the center and organize career counseling seminar
  • To visit various institutes like computer centers, ITI colleges, Vocational Training centers, tuition centers,
NGOs for referrals to increase admissions

  • To prepare and submit requisite reports to the management on periodic basis
  • To gather and provide feedback from prospective students to the management.
  • To maintain the cost within the budget allotted for promotional activities and deliver expected results.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Any Bachelor degree.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 12 years of hardcore sales experience. Sales experience in educational courses, credit card,
Insurance.


DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of Hindi/English is must
  • Avid traveler and likes field work
  • Organization and multitasking skills
  • Proven and consistent track record of achieving targets
  • Own bike is mandatory.
