  • As a Production Planning and Inventory Control Manager, your role will be to oversee and manage the production planning and inventory control processes within the organization. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely production of goods while maintaining optimal inventory levels.

  • Develop and implement production plans based on demand forecasts, sales orders, and inventory levels to meet customer requirements and optimize resource utilization.
  • Coordinate with various departments, such as sales, operations, and procurement, to gather data and understand production requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze production and inventory data to identify trends, anticipate demand fluctuations, and make informed decisions regarding production scheduling and inventory replenishment.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components to support production schedules.
  • Utilize production planning tools and software systems to generate production schedules and monitor progress against planned targets.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile physical stock counts with system records and identify and address any discrepancies.
  • Implement inventory control strategies to minimize stockouts, excess inventory, and obsolete stock, while optimizing inventory turnover and carrying costs.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production planning and inventory control and regularly report on performance to management.
  • Lead and manage a team of production planners and inventory control staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Continuously improve production planning and inventory control processes by identifying and implementing best practices and process enhancements.

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, operations management, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in production planning and inventory control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make datadriven decisions.
  • Proficiency in using production planning and inventory management software systems.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with crossfunctional teams and effectively communicate production plans and inventory status.
  • Leadership abilities to manage and motivate a team and drive process improvements.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to production planning and inventory control.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work.

₹30, ₹40,000.00 per month
