Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Admissions Counselor who is fluent in a South Indian language (such as Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, etc.) to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting prospective students from South India through the admissions process, providing them with guidance and support as they navigate their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:
1.

Provide Guidance:

Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective students from South India, offering information and guidance on admissions procedures, academic programs, financial aid, and campus life.

2.

Language Support:

Communicate effectively with students and their families in their native South Indian language, ensuring clear understanding of admission requirements and processes.

4.

Cultural Sensitivity:

Understand and respect the cultural nuances and preferences of South Indian students and families, adapting communication and support strategies accordingly.

5.

Relationship Building:

Cultivate strong relationships with high schools, educational consultants, and community organizations in South India to promote the institution and facilitate student recruitment efforts.

7.

Events and Outreach:

Participate in recruitment events, college fairs, and information sessions both locally and in South India, representing the institution and engaging with prospective students and families.

8.

Continuous Learning:

Stay updated on trends and developments in higher education, admissions practices, and South Indian culture to better serve prospective students and enhance outreach efforts.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Fluency in a South Indian language (Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, etc.) is essential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Prior experience in admissions, recruitment, or student services preferred.
Cultural sensitivity and awareness of the educational landscape in South India.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally for recruitment purposes.

Pay:
₹18, ₹25,388.79 per month
